In Adutlhood's Opening scene the producers use this effect of scene overlapping and title use to create a solid scene. Red Madrell's (Alisa) face is shown fading out whilst the title background fades in which shows how time is passing and the previous seen where Trife dies in Alisa's arms has moved on. Also the title gives a sense of how much time has passed and also the title stands out and can be seen clearly which adds to its importance as it sets the time scale for the next scene.
