In Adutlhood's Opening scene the producers use such shots as the one above to emphasise everything happening in the set. The top part of the split screen shows two men rolling up spliffs. In the lower part of the screen it shows many people dancing around having a good time. This one shot shows how troubled life is for these youths as they are smoking weed and erotically dancing with girls. This is a clever technique used for this opening scene as it captures the audiences attention to everything going on the scene which gives the impression that the set is heavily crowded.
