In Adutlhood's Opening scene the producers use this High Angle shot to portray how the death of Trife in the previous film has now become insignificant and how time has passed and people have moved on from his death. This is also a clever scene for Adulthood and it shows scenes from the prequel Kidulthood and gives the audience an idea of what has happened in the previous film. The camera shot / angle is also effective as it shows the audience everything that is going on in the scene and that we are not part of the drama as we as an audience cannot intervene with Trife's death.
